I was able to represent the Yukon Territory at various sporting events including the 2008 Arctic Winter Games, 2009 Summer Canada Games, and 2010 Canadian Basketball Championships. I was privileged to receive a scholarship from 2009-2010 to attend Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Saskatchewan to play for the women's basketball team. Following this I earned a spot on the Camosun College Chargers Women's basketball team from 2010-2013. I now participate in recreational basketball leagues, and coach youth as often as possible.

In addition to basketball, I also have history in softball, figure skating and rugby.

I am proud to call myself a Yukoner! I was born and raised in Whitehorse Yukon Territory, which has given me a unique perspective on life in northern Canadian communities. It has also fostered my passion for outdoor recreation and environmentally friendly endeavors.

"It’s the great, big, broad land ’way up yonder,

   It’s the forests where silence has lease;

It’s the beauty that thrills me with wonder,

   It’s the stillness that fills me with peace."

The Spell of the Yukon by Robert Service (1953)
